JUNGLE JUSTICE

He was dragged,
Beaten,scorned,
Insulted.
He was accompanied
By multitudes
Hands tied backwards
Phlegm and crimson
Flowed effortlessly
From his nostrils.
Head swollen and shapeless
From different encounters
With wooden crafts
He stared,without blame
As though he could not understand it all;
The theatric in which he was the
Unfortunate hero and the crowd, the villains
He was stripped
His pendulum shrinken and bare
Of the lethal fear imposed.
From different angles,
Mouths sputtered curses,
Questions they already know
The answers.
-Who sent you?
-How many have you rendered lifeless?
-What do you use?
-Do you have any progeny yourself?
He heard them but never said a word
He only waltzed with pride
His last mortal journey
To that juncture,that spot
Where mercy don't dictate
Where eye is pucked for and eye
Where stones are cast for fun
That spot that death is waiting patiently
To welcome him through brutality
That spot where justice does not take stance
He eventually halted at his place of skull
And surrendered his all
To be killed by killers
That bear different names
Just like him.
